Photodynamic Therapy
Photodynamic Therapy is used to treat sun damaged skin, enlarged pores, chronically chapped lips, inflammatory acne, and rosacea (reddening of the skin). The therapy works by applying a photodynamic drug to the skin. Once the drug is applied, the covered skin is exposed to a laser that activates the drug. The drug then continues to remove abnormal skin cells. This leaves behind smoother, cleaner, and healthier looking skin.
