I read about Dr. Bansal’s good reviews on RealSelf and, being from the Bay Area, was very familiar with their advertising on local television.I got my first BBL in 2021 and was not very happy with the results, so I decided to get a revision BBL surgery here at Elite, MD. I felt very supported throughout the process and let’s just say that everyone was very attentive to my needs, unlike the previous location where I had my first BBL. They are very holistic with their care and set you up for success. It seems like they really care about their patients! Vanessa, especially, really went above and beyond to make sure I got an appointment date that worked best for me!Another quick shoutout to Crystal who was very meticulous about asking what I wanted the day of the surgery and going through the different ways of sculpting they could’ve done!The surgery itself went pretty smoothly and the recovery process has been great! I received a BBL (back fat transfer only) from Elite MD in December 2022. I’m two months post-op and am quite pleased with the results! Here was my overall experience. Consultation (Oct 2022):I received a consultation in October 2022 for the BBL. I had already done lots of homework and knew exactly what I wanted, but it was good to chat with the doctor live. The consultation was quite procedural as expected.Surgery (Dec 2022):The surgery itself was in the Danville office with Dr. D as the lead. Not much that I can really report other than I wasn’t in any pain. The procedure was local anesthesia, but I felt like I was pretty knocked out for the whole time despite not having general anesthesia. In addition to the actual fat transfer BBL, Elite MD also did a fantastic job of sculpting my back to help create even more curves to emphasize the results of the BBL.Post-Op Care (Dec 2022):Within the first two weeks of surgery I had 2 or 3 check-ins at the Danville office. While the appointments weren’t always on time, once Dr. B was in the room I felt like I had his full attention without the feeling of being rushed. Elite MD also gave me a very prescriptive post-op program that I think is actually what the made the biggest difference in keeping my results. Perhaps the most important part was Rima, Elite MD’s lymphatic massage specialist who can work wonders on moving things in your body to where they need to be.Overall:All this to say that I’m super satisfied with the results and my only regret is not doing this sooner. The surgery was fairly pricey, but I actually received a different consultation estimate at another local provider that was more than double Elite MD’s rate. Yes, there are even cheaper rates if you travel for this type of surgery, but I always felt safe and in good hands during the whole process at Elite MD. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a BBL. In fact, I will likely go back for another fat transfer surgery in the next year or so!
Skinny/mini BBL - very natural but visible results - Dr.B and staff are amazing. Dr.B is fully transparent about realistic results. I got vaser lipo and Jplasma on my back, and the little fat I had, transferred to my but. Very natural but visible results.Updated on 26 Jan 2023:Somehow my review got published without me finishing. Here is the rest of my review.I'm around 4 months post op and now seeing more of the permanent results as the swelling has subsided. The fat in my hips didn't survive (which can be common), but majority of fat transferred to my but, did, which I'm happy about. As mentioned, I didn't have much fat to begin with, so I'm grateful to see a a subtle, but noticeable difference. I had some lose skin from weight loss which is why I opted for the jplasma. I can see a small difference so far, but I know it can take up to 6 months to see the full result. Another thing I was very nervous about is the hard lumps and bumps you see a lot of people complain about after lipo. I do not have any! I'm sure some of this has to do with me being consistent in getting my amazing lymphatic massages (Linda is amazing), but it really has a lot to do with the surgeons technique. Lastly, I want to emphasize the top notch, family oriented service you get as soon as you step foot into the practice. From the initial consult, to my post-op appointments, I am always treated with respect and feel like family. Vanessa is the one I met with during my consult, and she is truly the reason why I chose EliteMd to perform my procedure. She was so informative, knowledgeable, and made me feel so comfortable. She was always there when I had any questions, before and after my procedure. Once I met Dr.B, I knew I had made the right decision. He spends so much time with you before your procedure. I really appreciate how he sets realistic expectations from the start. One thing that really set the bar high is how much time he spends with you AFTER your procedure.
